E' passato un anno da quando Katerina e Johan mi hanno contattata la prima volta. Qualche informazione, tante idee ma un'unica richiesta: un matrimonio all'aperto sul lago. Nel giro di un mese ho pianificato la loro visita in Italia per poter mostrare ai futuri sposi quante più soluzioni possibili: lago d'Orta, lago Maggiore, Ville, Hotel, Ristoranti...tutto ciò che poteva darci la possibilità di realizzare un matrimonio da sogno è stato preso in considerazione e la scelta di Katerina e Johan ha premiato Stresa e la sua Villa Aminta.
Organizzare il matrimonio di questa splendida coppia è stato molto stimolante. La sposa, infatti, per metà ucraina e per metà canadese, ha portato in Italia un po' di suo gusto e tradizione, accompagnandoli alle tradizioni dello sposo svedese, lasciandomi l'arduo compito di fare collimare tutte le richieste...è stato entusiasmante!!!
Il colore scelto come linea guida è l'avorio/bronzo che ben si è abbinato al tema che abbiamo sviluppato per il matrimonio: l'immagine del lago Maggiore rivisitata in chiave antica, il tutto declinato su carta di pregio, tagliata a mano e in tinta avorio. Una goccia di fucsia ha aggiunto un po' di pepe all'evento: per le graziose damigelle, sorelle di katerina, e per i coni di riso
It has been a year since Johan, Katerina and I have had contact for the first time. There was some information, many ideas but one particular request: an outdoor wedding on the lake. Within a month I planned their visit to Italy in order to show the bride and groom as many possible solutions: Lake Orta, Lake Maggiore, villas, hotels, and restaurants ... everything that could give us an opportunity to make a dream marriage dream come true. After all was taken into consideration, Katerina and Johan’s choice was Villa Aminta Stresa.
Arranging the marriage of this lovely couple has been very stimulating. The bride in fact, half Ukrainian, half-Canadian, brought to Italy a bit of ‘taste and tradition’ combining them with the traditions of her Swedish husband, leaving me with the intimidating task of amalgamating all requests ... it was exciting !
The color chosen as the guideline was the ivory / bronze which was well matched to the theme that we developed for the wedding picture of Lake Maggiore - revisited the ancient, all declined to honor card, hand-cut and ivory. A drop of fuchsia on the dresses of Katerinas pretty sisters/bridesmaids as well as the cones of rice added a little 'pepper’ to the event.
