From 11am to 8pm, the couples could enter the ballroom of the Principi di Piemonte Hotel, to have a look at all the original proposition of the brands taking part, listeing at marvellous music and try secial food preparation from Chef Giuseppe Fonsdituri.

NOZZE......INGLESI!!
Venerdì 12 Settembre 2008 Julie e Jason sono convolati a nozze!
Friday the 12th of September 2008 Julie and Jason finally got married.
La splendida coppia inglese ha scelto come luogo per la celebrazione del rito civile e della cerimonia il Castello di Miasino.La speranza di poterlo celebrare in terrazza con la vista mozzafiato era tanta ma il tempo non sembrava stare dalla loro.
The beautiful english couple had chose for the celbration of the civil rite and the reception the Miasino Castle. The hope to celebrate the rite on the terrace was high but the wheater wasn't really helping.
Per tutta la settimana ha fatto un tempo da lupi mentre venerdi il sole ha cominciato a risplendere proprio all'ora prevista per il rito e cosi.......ecco il loro desiderio avverato.Essendo una coppia straniera il rito in se è stato celebrato in italiano con simultanea traduzione in inglese.
All week long there was a very bad weather, instead on friday, the sun decided to came out right at the time of the cerimony and so....here the dream come true. Beign a foreign couple the rite has been celebrated in italian as well translated in english.

L'aperitivo è stato servito in giardino mentre la cena nel salone del castello. Accanto al magnifico tavolo reale gli ospiti hanno trovato una simpatica wedding cake, un guest book in versione un pò diversa, e tutti hanno subito colto l'occasione per lasciare un messaggio agli sposi.
The aperitif has been served in the garden while the dinner was in the dining room of the castle. Right off the magnificent imperial table the guests found a "wedding cake", a very original version of the guests book, everybody didn't miss the occasion to leave a message to the newly wed.

IL SOLE DI NAPOLI SUL LAGO
Claudia e Flavio, direttamente da Napoli, a gennaio hanno chiamato la D Day per farsi organizzare il loro Grande Giorno a Stresa, sul Lago Maggiore. Poche settimane dopo ecco fissato l'appuntamento...davanti all'Hotel Villa Crespi di Orta San Giulio!!! Et Voilà è scattato l'innamoramento tra gli sposi e il famoso ristorante...la visita sul Sacro Monte che è seguita ha fatto il resto e i nostri sposi hanno cambiato rotta e preferito il Lago d'Orta!
Claudia and Flavio, right from Naples, in Januray called the D Day to have their wedding organized in Stresa, on lake Maggiore. Few weeks later the appointment for the first encounter was fixed...in front of Villa Crespi in Orta San Giulio!! Et Voilà love at first sight between the couple and the famous restaurant....the view of Sacro Monte right after just made the trick and the couple switch location from Stresa to Orta.
Sabato 2 agosto, il sole che si stagliava sul cielo blu dava proprio la sensazione che gli sposi si fossero portati una fetta di Napoli...
Saturday August 2nd, the sun was bright in the sky, almost like the couple took a piece of Naples with them.
E' stato un matrimonio per pochi intimi e gli sposi hanno deciso di sistemare tutti gli ospiti in un delizioso bed and breakfast ad Ameno, dove anche Claudia ha deciso di prepararsi per il D Day...
The wedding was for few intimate and the couple decided to have them stay all at the same bed and breakfast in Ameno, where even Claudia had a room to get ready on the Big Day.
La cerimonia in Chiesa è stata quella delle grandi occasioni, caratterizzata da
serenità, classe e forti emozioni. Ha fatto da colonna sonora il grande Maestro Albertini dell'orchestra di Alessandria, che ha saputo sottolineare con stile i bei momenti del matrimonio.
The cerimony was distinguised by any other from the calm, the class and the strong emotion that you could feel inside the church. Tha background music was played by the Master Albertini from a classic band based in Alessandria.
Uno spazio particolare all'originale progetto floreale di Stefania: orchiedee bianche e fucsia confezionate in eleganti vasi di vetro:
A special place for the original flower project of Stefania: white and fuchsia orchids placed into elegant glass vases.
Un classico scatto al Sacro Monte e....

poi di corsa al bruch organizzato nel giardino panoramico del Bar In La Rosa a Orta, dove la D Day ha allestito un simpatico buffet sotto il pergolato da cui pendeva una pioggia di nastri di raso.
then almost running back down the hills at the brunch in the panoramic garden of La Rosa Bar in Orta, where D Day set up a nice buffet under a roof made with tree branches, where lots of silk strings where hanging.
Il pomeriggio è trascorso velocemente tra brindisi a base di Coca Cola (grande amore degli sposi) e tante risate.
The afternoon went by fast between cheers with Coke (big love of the wedding couple) and laughing.
Alle 19 ecco scattare l'ora X per la grande cena di gala al Villa Crespi...
At 7pm was time for the gala dinner at Villa Crespi...
Un tavolo imperiale sotto il gazebo catalizzava l'attenzione di tutti i partecipanti e un dolce sottofondo di archi accompagnava con eleganza l'arrivo degli ospiti.
The imperial table under the gazebo was making every other guests sitting in the restaurant turning their head, and a sweet arch background accompanied the entrance of the guests.
Ed ecco i classici dettagli firmati D Day...
